living on sleep deprivation
Why in the world am I feeling stressed out? I'm not taking any finals. I'm giving finals. I've been up since 4:30 this morning, grading. At some point delirium is sure to set in, isn't it?
Oh, and the broadband connection at home is down. Accessing the Internet through dialup is like trying to breathe through a cocktail straw.

Hey, I have to breathe through that (56k) cocktail straw every day...
It's probably a good thing, otherwise I might never leave my compter....

What is this ... dial-up?
(he says, knocking on wood)

Hehe. I spent four months complaining about grading papers and keeping up with course websites on dialup. My wife was sick for one day, worked from home, and agreed to broadband that night. ;)

Trade ya! I'll grade your papers, and you can write my paper that we were given a week to do at the very end of the semester. It's my one grade for the entire semester. And I'm breathing through that straw every day, too....;> My roommate just got his own computer yesterday, so I think we're going to have to go broadband soon to avoid fights over that straw.

It's called karma. Whatever chi you put into the universe, man, you get back tenfold.

Chi getting better.

I'd recommend Chai. It's tastier.
