a random question
It occurs to me that I've only ever met two Miriams in my life, and they're both English professors who blog. I wonder: Am I the only person to have met both Miriam Jones and Miriam Burstein?

Well, I have never met Miriam B. But that's not what you asked. If I ever do meet her, we can play six degrees of Kevin Bacon.

Are you sure you haven't met history prof, Miriam Forman-Brunell of our very own UMKC?

Weez, thanks for weighing in. :-p
MJ, I wonder if there's really anyway to answer the question.
G1, you're right, I've met three Miriams, but only two of them are bloggers.

The next question: how many Miriams are "Miriam Elizabeth"? The only other two Miriams I've met have, indeed, shared my middle name as well...

Hmm, I don't know, although "Elizabeth" does seem to occur as a middle name (no matter what the first name) pretty frequently.
