Lovely irony, huh? I had that happen a few years ago in New Orleans. I was attending a conference, and my first evening there, friends and I went for a walk in the French Quarter. The first bar we passed had it playing loud and clear -- I joked that they knew I had just come to town and was playing the KC anthem.
