yay me!

I'm City Hippy's choice as the winner of the Starbucks Challenge. I'd like to thank the academy...

And I still have 3 challenges to write up:

  1. New Town: Fair Trade success.
  2. Hyattsville, MD: Fair Trade success.
  3. College Park, MD: Fair Trade failure.

Hey there

Awesome...we are launching the next round shortly...three more challenges! Wow! You are a one man Challenge machine!

Namaste

Al

Yay you indeed! yay!

I gotta say, my local Starbucks sux0rs. AND we have this other amazing place that we frequent. So I didn't participate and probly won't, but you sir, you did great work. :)

Enjoy the coffee and tea! And let me know if you come 'round our parts, we'll take you to Coffee Exchange.

Congrats! Looking forward to the new write ups -- BTW -- Do you prefer Non-Zombie, or Not-Zombie?

Looking forward to the next round of challenges, CH and gLg.

I actually go by G Zombie, which is a nom de blog given me by ScribblingWoman

Vika, the next time I am up your way, I will definitely take you up on your offer!

Congrats, G! I've been meaning to ask the following since the first of these posts, but I needed to set up a new Typepad identity first (to go with my new nom de blog), and I'm lazy. *Anywho* do you or any of the readers following this and doing this challenge know anything about *shade grown* coffee vs. fair trade. Is shade grown more eco-friendly? Is it also fair trade? I tried to get to the SBX Challenge FAQ you listed in the comments to the first of these posts, but couldn't get to it for some reason.

Just wondering if anyone knows anything about this.

Well, darnit, for some reason TypeKey wouldn't sign me in. Hmmmm...

You can get coffee that is both shade grown and fair trade, but as I understand it, getting coffee that falls into one category does not guarantee that it also falls into the other.

Still waiting for the posts on the new challenges -- ;)

Ah, yes. Those will be forthcoming.
